A Morning at the Market – FOOD Tour- 2 Hours

The aim of this tour is to create a food experience that will connects you to our community by celebrating the best local purveyors and the real food they provide.
You will hear about stories that can only be found in the hearts of local growers and sellers. All of them have been selected carefully for their character, for their commitment to community, for keeping to the highest quality, and for being real. You will explore the Florence Central Market and taste lots of fresh food produced by local vendors.

The tour begins with an Italian-style breakfast during which your guide will explain the differences between the various ways of drinking coffee. We will continue the tour by tasting a selection of typical and local cold cuts and cheeses specifically chosen for their quality. We will taste the best truffles in the area and learn to recognize their quality. We will try various types of Tuscan oil and balsamic vinegar, eat a nice “porchetta” sandwich in the typical way and for the bravest, there will also be the opportunity to try our beloved “lampredotto”, a special Florentine street food.

You will taste the best of Italy’s cuisine, the one locals and inhabitants have every day.
